Our professional counselors have received advanced Critical Incident Stress Management training and are experienced in responding to all types of critical incidents in the workplace. We are ready to react proactively to a crisis and traumatic incident, providing individual or group support. As a local EAP provider, HelpPeople is committed to achieving a rapid response time and makes counselors available 24/7 to contact in a crisis. HelpPeople provides leadership consultations and sessions at your worksite or virtually as appropriate.
Critical events may include:
- Death or serious injury of an employee in the workplace
- Active shooter situations
- Homicide or suicide
- Natural disaster
- Event that involves a significant loss to the workforce
