Healthcare

HelpPeople is a division of Crouse Health. Our team works in the healthcare industry, and we’ve provided employee assistance to various healthcare organizations in Central New York, including hospitals, clinics and nursing facilities, for over 40 years.  Our experienced EAP clinicians understand the healthcare environment and the demands faced by healthcare professionals today.  The cost of caregiver stress in the healthcare industry can be high.  HelpPeople strives to reduce cumulative stress and build resilience in healthcare professionals and their family members.  

Fire Departments, Law Enforcement and EMS

HelpPeople supports our local fire departments, law enforcement and EMS services with our clinical services. Our team is proud to be uniquely responsive to those individuals who are vital to our community, be it through individual needs or organizations in times of crisis. With more than 30 years of experience working with first responders, HelpPeople provides evidenced-based, short-term interventions, critical incident support, consultation, on-site training and more.

Local Government and Municipalities

For 40 years HelpPeople has worked with local counties, cities, towns and villages to provide comprehensive employee assistance programs.  HelpPeople is familiar with local government departments and the stressors that are faced daily, such as high job demands, heavy workloads, challenging interactions with the public and burnout.  HelpPeople is available to assist leadership and the employee at every level.

Education

HelpPeople provides EAP services to school districts and colleges and universities. We have experience responding to concerns that impact those who work in education on every level. HelpPeople understands work-life balance issues, as well as the pressures associated with student achievement, safety and mental health. HelpPeople has been providing EAP services to the education industry for over three decades.

Human Services

HelpPeople recognizes that mental health support is imperative for the human service worker.  Our services respond to the high emotional demands and burnout that an employee may become vulnerable to.  HelpPeople works with various human service agencies and diverse populations.  We make obtaining counseling, consultation, and training easy and accessible to everyone in the industry.

Manufacturing, Construction and Engineering
